I’m not a fan of Paltrow – I think she’s sort of ‘flaky’; and she acted very disingenuous and immature during this trial, through her facial expressions and body language.
But if I had been on the jury, given the evidence and testimony, I would have found the same way.
I watch trials for the same reasons others watch football or basketball: sport and entertainment. And this is one of the most hilarious trials I’ve watched – including the pleasure of betting with myself every day on WHO would be the next person in that room to come down with a terrible cold or ‘flu.
(I especially admired the Judge in this case – he was calm, measured, impartial, dignified, and rather handsome. A pleasure to watch.)
Next case!
Vagina scented candle pay off? 🤢
Celebrities almost always prevail.
Who cares?
Still can’t believe she won for ‘Shakespeare in Love,’ in which she had ZERO screen presence.
No love for Paltrow, but the guy was pretty clearly a grifter. The Jury awarded Paltrow her requested $1 counter suit, which apparently means the grifter will also cover her legal bills. I bet that won’t be cheap...
I read that he had his skis in between hers, from behind.
Pretty clear cut case of his fault.
Best to try to ski at less populated resorts.
Volodymr Zhukovskyy is the young driver of a truck involved in an accident that killed 7 motorcyclists in New Hampshire. I ended up watching most of the trial as soon as the videos came out (and before the verdict).
I found it very interesting and educational.
Here is the first session of witness statements. I wish there was a link that only had the trial as it went in order. I couldn’t find anything like that, so to find Day 2 of the trial there will be videos with headlines of the verdict as well which sort of ruins things.

Classy, and I mean that.
I agree.
I’m no fan of Paltro and her nutty leftist wokery, but I was for her in this case.
It’s an interesting study in human nature. I’m kind of interested in that, as well as in Law.
It was an old man who was injured. He was looking for 300k, not millions.
I can’t believe that anyone would pay that much to smell Gwyneth’s ‘vagina’. But it’s apparently the only vagina that smells like roses...:-)
As I recall, he first asked for several millions; and then it was reduced.
Initially he sued for $3.1 million, but he and his lawyers eventually scaled it down. I do agree, though, with others in this thread that it’s nearly always foolhardy to try to sue a celebrity. As the Depp and Paltrow cases illustrate, starstruck jurors are generally going to give the benefit of the doubt to the celeb. They can’t help themselves. The Hollywood/media PR machine has sold the world on the idea that this person is beloved and something special. Some random person off the street can’t overcome that sort of advantage that the celeb has.

The only scented candle on earth that could make your bathroom smell worse after a horrible dump.
Yeah, it’s infuriating, I know!
Did you watch the trial?
