The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) denounced as “classic anti-Semitism” remarks by the rapper Kanye West, who in a radio interview last week attempted to explain President Obama’s inability to gain momentum on his policy priorities in Washington, D.C. with the outrageous statement that, “Black people don’t have the same level of connections as Jewish people.”
“If the comments are true as reported, this is classic anti-Semitism,” said Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director. “There it goes again, the age-old canard that Jews are all-powerful and control the levers of power in government. As a celebrity with a wide following, Kanye West should know better. We hope that he will take responsibility for his words, understand why they are so offensive, and apologize to those he has offended.”

I understand what he means. It’s not a slur to say many Jews have connections. I’m pretty sure he means business and career connections, and it’s true. Nothing wrong with it.
It’s a positive thing, based on a certain type of lifestyle.
That’s how much of the country was run for thr first few decades after the industrial revolution.
Who you knew could make a dramatic difference in how easy it would be to achieve and maintain a high standard of living. In many cases, it’s still that way with various ethnic groups, who become an extention of the nuclear family.
Practicing Jews are more likely to be wealthy because they follow the old testament which is basically a step-by-step guide to living a happier, healthier, more prosperous life.
There is nothing racist about admitting that.

He’s right insofar as displaced Africans were completely cut off from their culture due to slavery and the sugar industry in earlier centuries. My wife has a friend, and ex-coworker on the East Coast, that is Jewish and hasn't interviewed for a job for five years. He is being supported by family. He somehow got mentally hung up after losing his job.
Kanye is once again nailing it, but he needs to get his brand re-established so that people will listen again. And by people I mean the left and the people who only follow what fake news tells them to follow.
