These docs are files residing on PC’s and servers. Any of the IT staff could access. Gee, even high speed copier/printers have internal storage where an IT person could access the opinion after it was printed.

One would think that John Roberts’ internal investigation would have interviewed both these suspects...yesterday.
I’d say they know who the leaker is and now they are negotiating a soft landing rather than the significant punishment it would deserve to deter this in the future.
If I were in his position and DIDN’T LEAK the document I would be in the first street corner avowing my innocence. Even if speaking out cost me my clerkship my good name is more important than any job!

So what. He will be invited AND paid to go on every news outlet. Paid for doing magazine articles and probably get book deals. He will be regarded as a martyr of the left. He knew this before he leaked it. If he is actually the leaker!

If Roberts etc does not know within two weeks who the leaker is, he doesn’t want to know. There are not many people who would have access to the leaked document. Just a few dozen people.
The vote will not/can not change.
With all the hoopla about the “unprecedented leak”, in NO WAY can the court allow a “leak” to influence/change a decision.
Talk about “precedent” setting!!!!!!!!
There would be “leaks” on every decision from now on if this leak was allowed to influence/change a decision.
