Having finished serving an 18-month sentence for sending obscene material to a minor, former congressman Anthony Weiner, like many disgraced Democrats before him, is plotting a comeback.
But, if his first TV appearance since becoming a free man is any indication, that comeback will not be successful. On Monday, Weiner appeared on Fox News alongside Guardian Angels founder and former Republican mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa to promote their new weekly show, The Left vs. The Right, on 77 WABC Radio. During the interview, Weiner was asked by Sean Hannity if he’s a changed man since serving his time.
“I guess the first question that I have is, you pled guilty, Anthony, to sending obscene materials to a young girl, 15-year-old girl … You served jail time. Have you changed? Are you a different person?”
“Well, um, I think so,” Weiner ambiguously replied. “I don’t think anyone can go through that kind of experience — and I think this is probably true of people who have been through other types of adversity — I don’t think you go through that type of experience and don’t emerge changed,” Weiner explained.

Why would Wiener even do an interview with Hannity unless he was so broke and they offered him money?
The logical question to ask is “Weiner, do you still fantasize about having sex with underage girls?”
Judging only by that short dialog between Weiner and Hannity, I would not say that Sean ‘humiliated’ Anthony.
Anthony Weiner was simply showing his natural arrogance by refusing to be backed into a corner like that. He knew what he was expected to say, but was just too stubborn to give in
It would have been far better for Anthony had he taken that opportunity to swallow his pride for a minute and just say those words “I’m sorry for what happened. I’m a different man now and these things won’t be happening again!” But he couldn’t even do that tiny bit of a Kabuki ritual where he apologies for his past actions.
Hannity isn't nearly as bad, but he's no saint either. He's done plenty of boasting about what a great Christian he is. When it's convenient for him.
I’m actually shocked that Weiner went on the Hannity show knowing he’d be walking into a meat grinder.
I don’t care for Anthony at all. He is a scumbag.
However, didn’t Hannity cheat on his wife Jill with Ainsley Earhardt?
So not sure where he is getting off all high and mighty.

I think it’s great that for once, a liberal POS is put in his place in the media. This is a daily occurrence for conservatives to be humiliated and often, for made up incidents

Anthony Weiner got the better of that interview. Hannity had a question in his head, did not get it answered exactly the way he wanted and then wasted time asking it over and over.
I’m not a fan of Anthony Weiner but he helped himself with that interview.
Weiner’s political mentor when he was rising up the ranks of NYC politics was Chuckles Schumer.
I didn’t know he was a twin.
