As we all know without even looking, it is a Chupacabra.

We have a Schnauzer that howls all night when we put him in his kennel. He’s far from a Coyote.

This dog the article is about is definitely a mix of something, and I’d say as one of the other posters probably a Whippet, or a Greyhound mix.

In his unkempt condition it’s difficult to figure what he/she is. So ugly it’s cute. I’d love to have it, but too old, and sick for anymore critters beyond what we have.

I have heard recently that dogs, coyotes, and wolves have started inbreeding.

That could definitely cause some confusion about what it is.

However, that picture looks to me like just a dog in really, really rough condition.

“Its clearly a domesticated dog that was abandoned by its owner”

Yes.

Aww, poor little guy.

My friends in Mendocino had a couple of Wolf Dogs, totally gorgeous and friendly animals, though the big male looked as wolfish as a wolf.

So why not a Coyote Dog

Dog with a bad case of mange. Take the fur coat of most familiar dog breeds, and you wouldn’t recognize them.

So why not a Coyote Dog?

Possible, but less likely.

The answer lies WITH THE EYES.. Those are COYOTE eyes, built for better night vision. Amazingly healthy eyes given its horrible state otherwise.

Doggone?

Coyodoggy is easier to say. (Are we allowed to use half-breed for anything in today’s world of censored speech and offended bitches when talking about animals. Or Hillary.

Looks like a coyote with a really bad case of mange. No hair, so it was cold.
