Never did figure out why I should watch a series all about a bunch of criminal scum. So I didn’t. Won’t be starting now.
To: Albion Wilde
Should be a good flick.
I binged the entire series a couple of weeks ago in anticipation of this movie.

Is this coming to theaters? streaming? or both?

Good show, but the Corlones would have destroyed him in 10 seconds.

Enjoyed Sopranos until the sodomy showed up. Sodomy always jumps the shark.

If ever there was a show that demystifies the life of the mob, it was
The Sopranos. The fantasies and pretentions of the mobsters, interspersed with unflinching displays of their utterly base, evil behaviors behind the scenes of their schizoid "happy family" lives, served to demonstrate how ultimately ridiculous their cult has devolved to in the 21st century.
It was a slowly unfolding series of tragedies, in which marginally sympathetic characters pique the viewer's interest, even make them laugh—only to squander and then bankrupt what remains of their humanity, one banal decision at a time.

I’m going to watch when I can. I watched the show and thought it was ok.. It was interesting enough to watch all the seasons (fwd the unnecessary homo mafia parts).

From what I’ve seen in the trailers the actress who plays a young Livia (Tony’s mom) is just incredible in the part. I remember her from the movie The Departed.

‘The Sopranos’ scenes were eclipsed by the MadTV skits. Will Sasso’s parody versions of Tony Soprano are hysterical.

OK; I saw the prequel in the theater. Looking forward to hearing others' impressions.
I'm pinging the thread again, but I suggest that if you haven't seen it yet, save the link so you can come back for discussion once you have seen it.
