Democrats know that it looks awful that Kamala Harris has not vacated her Senate seat, no matter how they try to redirect questions about it, or how they to gaslight Americans and make us feel crazy for asking about it, it is extraordinary that she has not stepped aside.

Harris’s term is over in two years, and she claims that she is the Vice President-elect, but she is, in fact, a US Senator, who was sworn in with the collective office holders on Sunday.

I think this is FAKE news////she was sworn in 4 years ago when she won. They are not sworn in again.

Agreed. The only time they are sworn in is when first elected, re-elected (which is why Mitch was sworn in), or are newly appointed. I cannot find a photo of her being sworn in, and I think the whole ceremony was shown live. Was she there?

“Sworn at” makes more sense.

I thought Hop Sing Xiden ran for the Senate. I didn’t know Camela ran for the Senate also.
I think he was asking about ethnicity/racially vs nationality.
Whatever her father is, it’s certainly not 100% Negro.

My question is aren’t Loeffler and Perdue no longer Senators as of last Sunday? I thought their term ended then. At least until they are hopefully reelected today.

She is getting paid about $500/day for what is essentially a no show job. Why should she resign now? If she resins on 1/18, she makes another $7K, and nothing else changes.

There's a difference between a governor leaving office, and a U.S. senator.
The governor can't just be replaced by a person.
The senator, can. And, hair boy in CA already picked her replacement. The question is, why didn't her replacement start this new congress? Why delay that, if it's inevitable? He'd be a solid socialist/hate america vote for the dems.
