Omar told MSNBC:
“My father and over 300,000 people have lost their lives because of dangerous criminal neglect by Trump and his administration.”
“I agree with Clyburn that it is not enough for us just to issue subpoenas; we have to investigate and prosecute these people who are responsible for these reckless deaths.”
Omar, D-Minn., said her father and others who have passed away from COVID-19 are “not here with us because we didn’t have leaders who cared about their lives.

House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, D-S.C. released a memo implying to have found evidence of “political interference” by the Trump administration to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s pandemic response.

In October, Omar attacked Trump after he announced he contracted COVID-19.
“So the bottom line is if it is more infectiouness [sic] now, the issue is who cares?” Paul Alexander wrote in a July email obtained by the House subcommittee.
“If it is causing more cases in young, my word is who cares…as long as we make sensible decisions, and protect the elderly [sic] and nursing homes, we must go on with life….who cares if we test more and get more positive tests.”
“There is no other way, we need to establish herd, and it only comes about allowing the non-high-risk groups expose themselves to the virus. PERIOD,” Alexander wrote.
“Infants, kids, teens, young people, young adults, middle-aged with no conditions, etc., have zero to little risk….so we use them to develop herd…we want them infected.”
In his memo, Clyburn wrote:
“The documents released today reinforce the need for HHS to end its obstruction of the Select Subcommittee’s investigation into the political meddling that has hindered the nation’s response to this deadly virus.”
“HHS must produce the critical documents and witnesses it is withholding,” Clyburn continued.
“And CDC Director Robert Redfield must appear for an interview regarding evidence that he ordered CDC staff to delete a key email. Unless the Administration abandons this flagrant obstruction, I will be forced to start issuing subpoenas.”
In October, Omar attacked Trump after he announced he contracted COVID-19.
Omar said in a scathing statement at the time:
“As someone who lost my own father to this virus and seen the pain it causes, I do not wish it on anyone.”
“Over 200,000 people have now died while this Administration actively ignores public health guidance and suppresses science.”
“For months, we have been hoping for a simple acknowledgment from the President—to hear the words, ‘We will get through this together,’” she added.
“And now we only hear those words when it is about him—not the hundreds of thousands of people who have lost their lives and the millions whose families have been touched by it because of his malfeasance.”
Liberals love making this argument.
But I ask them, honestly, what sweeping federal action would liberals and Democrats have allowed President Trump to take on during the onset of COVID?
Would they have tolerated the president to mandate lockdowns, quarantines, business closures, curfews, and masks? Or would they have called these mandates the actions of a dictator trying to draw attention away from his impeachment.
I think we all know the answer.
These people are so shamelessly dishonest.
Isn’t she being investigated for something? If it weren’t so sad, it would be laughable that she has any kind of voice in America.
Maybe she should have wore the mask over her nose and mouth, instead of on her head.
If she can blame Trump, can she blame the source of the virus, China?
Is she sincerely looking for someone to blame? Maybe she can blame whoever wasn’t wearing a face diaper when her dad got it. Blame blame blame. Tiresome politics.
