If Greta would stop whining and cease to exhale her own CO2 the world would be a better place.
Once saw a documentary on the Himalayas. The range is still uplifting, maybe an inch or two a year.
As it does, it exposes fresh material that just loves to bond with CO2.
That inch or so of material circles the base of a mountain range add up to quite an enormous area for carbon storage...
And it still doesn’t help the dingbat problem.
When it becomes 8 or 10 years, and things are still the same, will you get a dose of honesty and realize that your parents manipulated and used you as a prop? I hope you do, and finally settle down and seek happiness in this great world that God provided for you.

(But, again, it is interesting to note that these people always choose the representation that sounds most dramatic. 80 bn tonnes! Sounds like really much to most folks (0.000016, not so much). OTOH, relative numbers are used when the absolute values are wholly unimpressive. E.g., a change of 100% (gasp!) can in reality be a laughably low absolute change.)
America alone among industrialized countries has cut its emissions significantly.
