Another two years lost to climate inaction, says Greta Thunberg
The Guardian ^ | 8/19/20 | Damian Carrington

Posted on 08/20/2020 5:07:08 AM PDT by gasport

“But over these last two years, the world has also emitted over 80bn tonnes of CO2. We have seen continuous natural disasters taking place across the globe. Many lives and livelihoods have been lost, and this is only the very beginning.”

They said leaders were speaking of an “existential crisis”, yet “when it comes to action, we are still in a state of denial. The gap between what we need to do and what’s actually being done is widening by the minute. Effectively, we have lost another two crucial years to political inaction.”

Of course, or little Greta would become irrelevant, with nothing to cry “How dare you” about. But wait a minute, isn’t all human action bad?

I find it hilarious that we have 114 countries or so and one country decides to leave the Paris accord and the entire thing falls apart. Doesn’t speak too much for the plan if one country can cause such disruption. Lol.

the world has also emitted over 80bn tonnes of CO2

At least 1 of those 80 bn tonnes are her fault, with all her hot air and unhealthy emissions. She could help the climate by leaving the planet altogether. And most of the other 80 bn tonnes could be eliminated if her fellow leftist climate nutjobs would also leave the planet. Them going away would restore the planet to good health.

Don’t worry Greta, you’re doing JUST FINE now. Close to 1 million dead from Coronavirus (because you require sealed buildings which trap the virus), and millions more dead because you and your buddies won’t allow the truth to be told about eating carbs.

...and a relatively minor player, at that. The big boy on the block is NEVER talked about.

Maybe finishing school is a better idea for you than trying to defeat God’s plan for the Universe.

STFU Greta, you little brainwashed imbecile.
Bottle your own farts and spew your diatribe in your own home only. Your parents should be arrested for child abuse.

Guardian, BBC, ABC Australia are just 3 of the climate gate-keeper media ramping it up again:

19 Aug: ABC Australia: Climate grief expected to be widespread soon but it’s still not openly acknowledged
ABC Health & Wellbeing / By health reporter Paige Cockburn
The good news is there are strategies that may help you cope. The bad news is the pandemic we’re now facing may test your passion and enthusiasm for climate action.

PIC: For the past 18 months, Canadian scientist Kurtis Baute says he has been dealing with a lot of ‘climate grief’.
“Basically I can’t stop thinking about the fact that millions of people, real people, are dying or will die because of something that is completely unavoidable,” he recently announced on his YouTube channel.
“We can stop using fossil fuels but so far we’ve completely failed to do so...it feels completely out of control and it’s depressing.”...

It’s recognised by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and sufferers may feel emotions like fear, anger, guilt, shame, grief, loss and helplessness...
However, the latest research says that if you’re between 15 and 24-years-old you are at higher risk of feeling climate grief, with almost half of young Victorians feel extremely frustrated, fearful, sad and outraged about climate change...

The impact of COVID-19 on those who struggle with any form of eco grief is still unknown but psychologists are looking for answers...
