Biden targets Trump's mental state: 'Doesn't seem cognitively aware'
washingtonexaminer ^ | June 30, 2020 | Joseph Simonson

Posted on 07/01/2020 12:31:18 AM PDT by MarvinStinson

Joe Biden flipped the script on the GOP's constant attacks on his mental state, with the former vice president questioning President Trump's own mental acuity.

In response to a question on what consequences the president should face if reports that he knew about a Russian government scheme to pay Taliban soldiers to kill American service members overseas were true, Biden said Trump "doesn't seem cognitively aware of what's going on."

"This president talks about cognitive capability. He doesn't seem to be cognitively aware of what's going on," Biden said on Tuesday afternoon during a press briefing in Wilmington, Delaware. "The idea that he didn't know or wasn't being briefed, that's a dereliction of duty. And if he was briefed and didn't do anything about it, that's a dereliction of duty."

Biden then proceeded to accuse Trump of being "unfit to be president," before adding that he'd personally hold Russian President Vladimir Putin accountable for the move.

The controversy over whether Trump was briefed on the alleged Russian plot has caused a firestorm through Washington. The president has denied that he was ever told about the intelligence, and senior intelligence officials have told the Washington Examiner that Trump was never told about the supposed plot, which some intelligence officials dispute.

Toward the end of his press conference, Biden was asked about whether he had suffered any diminished mental ability since he left the White House in January 2017.

"I can hardly wait to compare my cognitive capability to the cognitive capability of the man I'm running against," he replied.

Think about 2016—go back and read the mass media coverage in the months leading up to the election.

Every other article was about “Landslide Hillary” and how she was going to crush Trump in November.

The rest of the articles attacked Trump for this scandal and that scandal and this issue and that issues.

“Trump campaign blunders about x”

“Trump campaign shakeup after terrible poll numbers”

“Trump alienated Group X with latest comment”

“Prominent person Y endorses Hillary”

24/7—for months and months and months....

Don’t worry about “losing the narrative”.

We need Biden nominated and kept as the nominee because the Democrats believe their own lies.

Believing their own lies is what doomed Hillary—and it is what will doom Biden.

The old political tactic known as “muddying the water”. Candidate A is suspected of misusing public funds, the stories are starting to get some traction, but instead of addressing the issue and confirming or denying it, Candidate A starts attacking his opponent, Candidate B, with the exact same accusations. With the hope that either it will cause confusion and take the spotlight off of him or it will neutralize the issue with voters saying, “Well I guess every politician does it.”

He hasn’t laid a blade on Trump. We can joke about Slow Joe and his senility, but this will be a knife fight, and he may be senile, but he is also vicious, like that Gunsmoke episode where a crooked gambler gives a gun to a retard and tells him to kill Marshall Dillon. Dillon informs the retard that he’s being played and refuses to kill him, and in the end the retard gets so upset that he kills the crooked gambler and Dillon reluctantly must lock him up and hang him. Season 2, I think. One of the Chester episodes, BF (Before Festus).

I don’t believe that “cognitively aware” is a valid medical term. Any professional comment?

Your answer has all the elements why there won’t be a presidential debate. If Biden does not pass away, there will be a made up reason for him not to show up (got to keep the wuhan flu restrictions going) and the major media propaganda arm of the demonkraps will dutifully blame Trump. But why not, here is a guy who until 2016 was never involved in running government, yet he is responsible for all the systemic racism. The sad thing is how may American fools believe lies.

Does anyone EVER see Biden after 8:00 PM?

No... because he’s sundowning with dementia

The only vote that counts is in November. Average Americans in general don’t really tune in until after Labor Day. It will be hard to ignore Trump in those last 60 days, and if Biden doesn’t show his face in public, it will be an issue. If Biden shows up in public, the onset of dementia will be more obvious to those who were tuned out prior to labor Day.

The bigger threat is the counting of votes, and expect in demonkraps controlled precincts delayed vote counts .... buying time to be able to figure out how many votes are needed to win.
