Tyrants, and their foot soldiers, often begin as rebels. They broach no rebellion if they take power, however. The current confusion is a result of the Left exploiting the populace through life-long indoctrination in the schools, reinforced by the mainstream media, IMHO.

I just heard today from a friend who is a Civil War scholar/historian, and is also curator of a military museum. My friend has also published several books on the Civil War. He was asked to proof read an op-ed by two writers, to determine the accuracy of historical facts they wanted to include about a specific historical figure during the Civil War in South Carolina, as well as the history surrounding Juneteenth. He attempted to point out to one of the writers that the info he was offering on this historical figure could not be backed up with any actual historical documentation, but the writer told him it didn’t matter, and that he’d be including it anyway as a “feel good” story. Same problem with the Juneteenth topic. The writer wasn’t interested in the intricacies of the event. No actual facts...just fiction. My friend said he was just glad his name wasn’t on the op-ed, and that he has given up trying to help these people, because it doesn’t matter what the actual facts are anymore, it’s what the media and politicians make it out to be.

I’d say there is a greater chance of seeing a Black Lives Matter sign at the rally than there is seeing a Confederate battle flag.

I guess you’re simply too ignorant to recognize the fact that A. Democrats in the 1800’s, e.g. Andrew Jackson, J.C. Calhoun, and later Grover Cleveland, were the exact opposite of what Democrats are today, and (more importantly) B. by joining in the crusade against Southern heritage, you (and not Confederates) are on the same side as Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and today’s Democrats. How does it feel being a puppet of Al Sharpton? He applauds your hatred of the stars and bars too.

This is a time when we should be putting aside petty differences so as to unify against our common foe. If you weren’t so emotionally overwrought right now you would see that I’m not telling anyone no, don’t wave that flag - I’m advising to think first of the consequences. If you weren’t so thick-headed you would see that I am not your enemy.
It’s not the opinions of the left that we need to concern ourselves with - their tiny brains are locked tight. But (like it or not) not every Republican or person who might be inclined to vote for Donald Trump likes that flag. Whether or not they hold that view legitimately or sincerely (in your view) is irrelevant - they do hold that view. They will likely vote accordingly. And alienating them is counter-productive. Trump needs every vote!
I know that you don’t like me - at this point I don’t particularly give a shit what you think. For the better part of 10 years you’ve slandered me and attributed false things toward me.
