This is a time when we should be putting aside petty differences so as to unify against our common foe. If you weren’t so emotionally overwrought right now you would see that I’m not telling anyone no, don’t wave that flag - I’m advising to think first of the consequences. If you weren’t so thick-headed you would see that I am not your enemy.
It’s not the opinions of the left that we need to concern ourselves with - their tiny brains are locked tight. But (like it or not) not every Republican or person who might be inclined to vote for Donald Trump likes that flag. Whether or not they hold that view legitimately or sincerely (in your view) is irrelevant - they do hold that view. They will likely vote accordingly. And alienating them is counter-productive.
