I watch Tucker Carlson almost every night and I think I get an intelligent and balanced perspective on events. However, recently Tucker is giving a very insightful and powerful view of the news, but it is almost unbearable to watch. I feel that the US has toppled to the forces of anarchy. Tucker is warning us but it almost seems too late with all the events that have taken place.
I know this is wrong -- America is still strong and the mayhem on the streets are not reflective of the whole nation. However, by watching Tucker I end up depressed in a way that I can't easily shrug off. He is right to warn us and gives us valid reasons with many powerful visuals. I am just wondering if this depressive effect is also experienced by other viewers. And if so, what do you do about it aside from not watching?

Despite the display of PRO-testers and vandals, how many millions of Americans are NOT participating in these activities. Probably too busy working to live their lives. Butt as we’ve seen of late. If you don’t participate——BOOM! Racis’!
The real threat is voter fraud.
Not depressed at all. Just more determined than ever to never bow in front of anyone representing BLM.
Every Trump supporter I know is also more determined than ever to vote for Trump in November.
Depression is the goal set for us by the Media and the Dems. Don’t fall for it.

If you remember, watching Tucker during the early weeks of the pandemic almost made you want to jump off the nearest roof - he was THAT alarmist and depressing.

My nephew’s wife who leans left has stated unequivocally that she is voting for Trump. The “abolish the police” and rioting is a bridge too far and is scaring the hell out of people.
This could single-handedly change the suburban mom vote.
It can get you down. I had to detach from all electronic comms including family and friends for a week. Several deaths of friends and pets added to it. You can’t let it topple YOU. You’re the last line of defense for yourself and your loved ones. Sometime you gotta take a break...

Wrong. Tucker tells it like it is. There is no good comparison between Tucker Carlson and Shep Smith.
Tucker Carlson is a wise, accurate and “right-on-the-money” commentator...period!!! No one without serious weight, intelligence, resolve & wisdom gets 6.5 million TV viewers every night!!! Tucker owns the Cable TV news night...100%
Now it is up to the vast majority of the American people to fight for their country, their freedom, their liberty, their opportunities, their Second Amendment and for them to get off their butts and get out to vote like, today in the West Virginia, Georgia primary elections.
And vote only for POTUS, Donald J. Trump and only GOP candidates....across the board!!! This evening as the voting results flow in...you get to see if the USA lives on in freedom or, it chooses to die to live by Orwellian “Big Brother”, dictator, despot, tyranny rule!!! Your choice, American voter!!!
Saw it. I find Tucker’s views insightful and pertinent. He does want to be right about his anti Trump views, which puts him in a negative place. Not like a nasty never-Trumper but it’s there. Feeling much better this morning After listening to yesterday’s dan Bongino podcast.

Which brings us to invasion of non Americans, paying them, ushering them to take our jobs, to vote

I still watch Tucker and I do agree with your reaction to his most recent shows.
But I have stopped watching Hannity and mostly stopped watching Laura Ingraham. The reason for both is their radio talk show developed habit of talking over their guests. A guest on either show struggles to get a word in edgewise. Hannity is the worst but Laura is catching up.
Added to that is the incredible number of commercials thrown at us by Fox News. I don’t need a pillow. I have one and I love it.
The problem is that for years, quietly, the Left has been inflitrating all of our institutions, they have even now seized the Churches, and even our Military.
Now is their big coming out party. Back in 1968, they were still outsiders, today, they are in charge. And Trump is just one man.
Keep praying for God’s Intervention. We know eventually all this is going down His Way . . .any day (OK not setting a date here). All of this mayhem is a foreshadowing of the last days. No one is guaranteed a next breath . . .so we need to be ready to meet Jesus . . .it’s our choice you know.

I think Tucker is essentially saying that the breakdown of law and order does not bode well for the future of this country and clearly illustrates that our institutions have failed us in so many ways. People are losing faith in our government and in our leaders.
I wonder how much longer he will be allowed expose what’s going on before he runs afoul of Fox management?
Chin up! It’s all gaslighting all the time now with the media. And it will only get worse as the election gets closer. Be confident that the polls are rigged (too few Republicans, too many Democrats) and that the corruption of the media is complete and total. I would not be surprised if we see a November result similar to what the UK saw last year.
I personally think one reason for what’s happening is that Trump is making record inroads, and receiving record favor-ability ratings, among minority voters—as they have greatly benefited from the economic conditions he has helped to foster.
The Democrats know that if Trump breaks their stranglehold over the black vote—as it appears he is in fact going to do—they become a permanent minority party. I think all this is, in part, a rather desperate effort to divert the train wreck they see happening in November.
For all of the media’s efforts to prevent it, I think this election is going to be a McGovern 1972 redux—or even better.
