I am getting a website security error on this website starting today. The first time I am seeing such an error.
The websites security certificate is not yet valid or has expired.
Error Code: DLG_FLAGS_SEC_CERT_DATE_INVALID
Has anyone encountered this? It keeps logging me out repeatedly. It seems that the website security certificate expired today. Please confirm. Thanks.
Got it too.
Yup.

Got it with Firefox. I just accepted the risk and continued.
Me too. Switched to chrome where the site still works. Would prefer my default browser.

Search works.
Me too.
As mentioned above FR’s SSL certificate expired and the renewal is in limbo. Everybody’s posts are public anyway...encryption not really necessary...just use “http://freerepublic.com" instead of “https://freerepublic.com".

I got it with Firefox when I tried to access using my bookmarks.
I just did a search for freerepublic and came in that way without a problem.
On Google chrome, it is throwing up virus and security warnings. On Brave, there is no problem.

That does not speak very well for Chrome when it comes to security. Not surprised.

Looks like FR’s certificate needs to be renewed. I bypassed the warning and jumped right in. Had to do my password and everything.
MacBook computer.
I get this trying to get to the FR website, and...
I get it also just clicking on THIS Thread’s title.
