I am getting a website security error on this website starting today. The first time I am seeing such an error. The website’s security certificate is not yet valid or has expired. Error Code: DLG_FLAGS_SEC_CERT_DATE_INVALID Has anyone encountered this? It keeps logging me out repeatedly. It seems that the website security certificate expired today. Please confirm. Thanks.

After lurking for a several months, I figured more folks would hear my responses if I joined and posted rather than shouting "Close your tags!" at the computer screen. So I joined under my first screen name, which is still there. (Don't tell Jim Thompson). Excerpt. Read more at http://www.freerepublic.com/~ljlucido/ A couple years later I wanted my full name as my screen name and didn't realize that I could just ask Mr. Thompson to change my original screen name and let me keep my sign-on date, so I opened a new account in 2002 (don't tell him that, either). So...

Moderator pulled my post about being in Facebook jail for commenting about the poisonous products China sends us. I posted in general/CHAT and nowhere else. Reason for pulling: “I stubbed my toe.” Do we now have Chinese trolls with moderator permissions? As bad as Facebook.

https://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3788708/posts#comment After reading the endless Drudge Report threads, watching many traditionally conservative sites and authors show their true colors how can anyone not see the need for Free Republic. Thank God that Jim remains steadfast in not selling out. We have a incredibly great place to exchange ideas and grow in our pursuit of information and knowledge through the many contributors on here. Thank you Jim Robinson. Folks please show real support by donating financially. Skip some basic pleasure for yourself once a month and donate. Thank God for our country, thank God for aa great place like Free Republic.

I posted an article last night about Trump ending "catch and release" at the border and now it and all of the replies have been deleted. This is the link to the article: https://news.yahoo.com/trump-administration-announces-end-catch-025632910.html Why was it deleted?

What's going on? Why the change to your format and user posts? Don't like it. Keep it simple. Don't want to read posts that are repeated and have a huge number of comments. zzzzz

Could someone please explain why this issue is happening when I insert an image or GIF into a post. I did indeed have paragraphs all set up but when I embed it breaks up the wrapping and does this. I am using Firefox, Is it this site not reading the HTML correctly or my stuff? I have never had this problem with Firefox before... Only happens here on this site. I Would like to fix this and it might be messing with others. Be nice to know wht's up here. It only happens if I insert a link. Until I...

Just about a half-hour ago when I clicked on my shortcut to go to FreeRepublic.com, a page popped up indicating something along the lines that "QANON.com" was phishing for information on FreeRepublic, and, when I continued, the address at the top now indicates that it's "dangerous" and it has lined through the "https" part of the indentification. Is something actually going on or is this something that Google is just doing to show its displeasure with a conservative website? It's not the shortcut, because I tried coming in directly from the search engine, along with typing in "https://www.freerepublic.com" specifically. Any...

It's time for a new HTML reference so you can make your posts look cool. Skip to the part about ading images to your post HTML means Hyper Text Markup Language. It's a set of simple commands used to format the text of your posts, add images, or links, or change the appearance. URL is Uniform Resource Locator. It's the name of the page or the picture that you see, the www.http:// stuff. You'll need to use the URL to make links and post pictures. Quotation Marks Quotes have to be used around the URLs for web pages and images...

Deceptive site ahead Attackers on qanonposts.com may trick you into doing something dangerous like installing software or revealing your personal information (for example, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards). Learn more ... I cannot access the forums any more, can only post, hope somebody fixes this, this could be due to an ad ? but I don't think the FR runs ads?

I changed my password. When I entered by new password for logging in, it rejected it. What happened is that my password was too long, and it truncated when I changed. But it did not warn me. I use a 'robot' for passwords, so I can have 'long passwords'. I figured out how the password was truncated (the length it needed to be). When I truncated the password, the new password worked. It is my opinion that the 'focus' software should have warned me that the password was too long.

I'm building a table for an FR friend and I did it the way I'd do it for my own website. It's a double table, to get an attractive border, and then a series of rows of various colors and numbers of columns. And, indeed, it's glorious on my website. But when we put the complete table into a thread or into my profile, the outer tables are completely removed by FR and the format of the rows becomes of varying lengths with missing borders around the cells, though both surrounding tables had their borders set correctly. Does this ring...
