CA has advanced to surveillance testing in multiple counties.
Still testing everyone that shows up at hospital. And more.
It’s rough now but a glance down the road’s cheerful. We will come back - better and stronger than ever. As always, thank God Trump was elected.
“Self swab” and put it in a biohazard envelope for testing
The FluBros thread will be up later - they are waiting for you.
BTW - those CDC numbers are estimates according to the CDC web site.
Spread out.
Each Parish had its own Mardi Gras events .
Some of the best ones are not In New Orleans .
You dont understand case fatality rate. You dont seem to understand.
Ok, I was thinking WA, maybe. Somewhere they were stopping testing. I dont know if that actually happened.
Several years ago, after learning that the Empire States stockpile of medical equipment had 16,000 fewer ventilators than the 18,000 New Yorkers would need in a severe pandemic, state public-health leaders came to a fork in the road.
They could have chosen to buy more ventilators to back up the supplies hospitals maintain. Instead, the health commissioner, Howard Zucker, assembled a task force for rationing the ventilators they already had.
In 2015, that task force came up with rules that will be imposed when ventilators run short. Patients assigned a red code will have highest access, and other patients will be assigned green, yellow or blue (the worst), depending on a triage officers decision.
In truth, a death officer. Lets not sugar-coat it. It wont be up to your own doctor.
In 2015, the state could have purchased the additional 16,000 needed ventilators for $36,000 apiece, or a total of $576 million.
CDC counts *all* pneumonia deaths as flu deaths.
Even if the pneumonia is from another virus or cause.
HTH.
Brix:
New York area infections are growing 4 to 5 times faster than anywhere else in the US
Trump aside comment “Do you blame the governor for that?”
What site is that map from?
Vitamin D3 levels?
And doubling every few days...
I would rather the country open up, the people who are high risk should self quarantine with laws designed to protect them financially and their jobs.
We could face a depression, with major job loss and people losing their lives because they cannot afford health insurance if we keep this up.
You are a troll who would rather vote for a Democrat.
Yea. I have unfollowed that nit wit. I’ll just see the numbers here.
Three words for this.
Grand
Central
Station.
True.
Interested to see if this changes.
The President just reminded everyone that Cuomo refused to buy new ventilators when he could have.
