Apple Inc. shares ticked higher in aftermarket trading after the company posted record quarterly results for its holiday quarter Tuesday afternoon while easily topping expectations.
The star of the quarter was the iPhone, as revenue for the category exceeded the FactSet consensus by more than $4 billion. I just replaced my phone for the first time in around five years. I got an LG V30 for $160 on Amazon (AT&T version).
I’m finding that for us old guys, keeping a couple of years behind the bleeding edge saves hundreds if not close to a thousand on one’s phone.

AAPL is still making most of its boxes and iPhones in China - your source is wrong,
$22 Billion in net profits in just one quarter is just nuts. Awesome.
Ive always been impressed by the tech and innovation of Apple products, but it took Jobs passing to get me to buy an iPhone and an iPad.
I guess Im already wet now. I might as well jump in the pool and get the good stuff.
If they truly are as robust and as solidly made as I read, itll be worth it.
