Take a look at actual videos that were made by experts. Shot in 4k at 60 fps and then edited on that same phone.
Still photos use AI to actually take several picture when you shoot one then put all those pixels together to make one very cool picture. If you don't need that stuff buy a left over iPhone 7, they are still offering the 7 and 8 at big discounts, the 7 goes for a couple hundred. The iPads are cheaper than ever.

Apple still offers the iPhone 7 & 8 at big discount so don't spring for the Pro model unless you need to film and edit 4k videos or slow motion stuff at 4k.
Well, I've dropped dozens of different phones dozens of times, and the only one that broke the screen was an iPhone 6. Anecdotal, for sure, but it's what my experience is.

Uh, none? Apple is firmly in control of manufacturing and design of the processors and chips. The company that makes the Apple devices is a TAIWAN company, unlike most of the Android phone, which I hate to burst your bubble, ARE ALSO MADE IN CHINA, including the vast majority of lower end Samsung and LG phones. Back doors HAVE been found in many Android devices and actual software that reports back to the Red Chinese Army. Not a single one has ever been found on an Apple product. In China, Apple has to abide by the Chinese laws where Chinese citizens are concerned. . . But not anywhere else. Not even a nice try, newfreep. Apple is not in the business of selling its customer’s privacy to the highest bidder.

Any Lithium Oxide battery will fail after ~600-700 charge cycles. It’s the nature of the beast. Two years is approximately 730 charge cycles. You could have changed that battery yourself for about $20.
