Some think Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez went too far when she compared the detention of immigrants at the border to being put in "concentration camps" earlier this week.
But actor and activist George Takei, who was sent to a Japanese-American internment camp during World War II with his family, backed up the New York Democrat's characterization.
"I know what concentration camps are," Takei wrote on Twitter this Tuesday. "I was inside two of them, in America. And yes, we are operating such camps again."

George destroyed any goodwill I had towards him a long, long time ago. He’s just creepy now. I liked it much better when I had no idea about the personal lives or politics of people I saw on screen.

A friend of mine recently remarked about this. If that is true, he said, it would be the only time in history when people were breaking into a country with concentration camps.
Yep, You would think entertainers would keep that stuff to themselves rather than alienate so many in their audience.

Dear George, Really? Please name the American citizens who are being forcibly removed from their homes and farms and interred in these “concentration camps” due to their home country attacking us.
