Why are men “afraid” of commitment?
Feminists will fix that by demanding every man must marry.
I was surprised recently to discover my wife had never heard of Men Going Their Own Way. I have to admit, if I were in my 30s or 40s I probably would be one of them. There is a great documentary on this, IIRC the title is “Red Pill” or some such.
Augmented exponentially by no fault divorce, which many protestant clergy championed in direct defiance of scripture.
That would be fun. The real world laughs at them at will. Being even funnier can be a good thing. :)
It’s also why something like 78% of all divorces are filed by the wife.
And they tried the ban “The Red Pill” movie.
One day I came home to find the Yellow pages open to Divorce Attorneys.
I got my shit together and started flying straight that moment.
A vision of a 2nd divorce is a bit scary to me.
Exactly right. Marriage is simply agreeing to give your partner half your stuff whenever she decides to walk away for whatever reason she deems valid.
I’ll never do it again.
On a side note, I just found out that my ex, to whom I was married for 20 years and divorced me in 1998, has dementia and my three daughters are trying to figure out what to do. I will not get involved at all. She is like an ex-girlfriend in my book and it would be insulting to my current wife of 21 years to be involved AT ALL.
I’m thankful that I’m not dating. I honestly believe that if I were a young man, I’d look outside of America for a wife.
Today’s American woman, in general, is self centered, irrationally empowered, and totally demanding. Women are the best, they can have it all, it’s a man’s duty to submit and serve. And if divorce happens, in most states, the man is roasted alive.
If you are a male, and don’t want kids, why buy the cow when the milk is free?
Family court in the People's Republic of Maryland is definitely not father friendly. I speak from experience.
