Zapping the brains of people over 60 with a mild electrical current improved a form of memory enough that they performed like people in their 20s, a new study found...
During a sham stimulation, the older group was less accurate than the younger participants. But during and after 25 minutes of real brain stimulation, they did as well. The improvement lasted for at least another 50 minutes after the stimulation ended, at which point the researchers stopped testing. It’s not clear how long the benefit reached beyond that, Reinhart said, but previous research suggests it might go for five hours or more after stimulation stops.
Researchers got the same result with a second group of 28 subjects over age 62.

I had a student who put on a shock collar. His brother chased him all over his yard zapping him. Every time he reached up to take it off, he got a shock. Next day, he couldn’t wait to tell everyone. Good thinking. Let’s go into business together - here’s the plan: we develop a baseball cap with a solar panel on top of it. There will be a small circuit board with a flashing LED on it, it won’t actually do anything other than make it look high tech. In fact- the sides of the cap need to have those Caution high voltage signs on either side. Two leads, one red and one black to attach to ears or whatever else some sick puppy wants to charge (I’m not judging). Figure about $2 for Chinese slave labor to slap it all together. Promote it with this story, and sell for $34.99. I’ll call my friend Zhang Wiu in Beijing and get the ball rolling!
