The moment he turned was the Obamacare ruling. He showed no signs of it prior to that. They got him on the adoption issue, and after that, he was their bitch. He can’t afford for it to ever come out, because then he becomes the guy who changed his opinions based on blackmail, and will have to resign in disgrace. So they own him for the rest of his career.
Our side needs to bring it to light. If we know what Obama used on him, then Roberts is in a pickle. He should be allowed to resign honorably, he can claim it’s to spend time with those adopted kids as they get to high school. If he doesn’t, that becomes a problem. Sure, we can drop the hammer on him, and he will be humiliated.
Still, it’s a lifetime job. They probably don’t have 2/3 of the Senate to get rid of a compromised judge that works with democrats while Trump is President. If he refuses to resign, even if the extortion is revealed, the only option left is prosecution. That would be some kind of wild storyline. Even the good judges might not like that kind of attack on a supreme court justice. So it’s a quandary.
