Jeff Bezos - Very Rich, But Not Very Smart [vanity]

That's one aspect of this fiasco that keeps ticking Bezos off - there's this unspoken meme out there that the richer you are, the smarter you must be. (Look at guys like Bill Gates or the founders of Google - smart computer guys, right?) And as The World's Richest Person, Bezos was happy to bask in this implied adulation too. But the fact that he would take "intimate self-pix" and send them over electronic media - which everyone, even poor peons like us, knows is hackable - shows really dumb behavior. (Bill Gates and Donald Trump never did this). Sure enough, those pix got hacked, and now Bezos looks like an idiot. So you have to wonder how much of Amazon's success was really due to Bezos himself, and how much was due to other people he hired. Did Bezos just luck out, being in the right place & time when he started Amazon as an online-bookseller? Sure starting to look that way now - with even poor people realizing they have more common sense than The World's Richest Person, of course he's really frustrated.

The other aspect of this that shows his dumbness is the fact that he took, and sent, all by himself, pictures of his "manhood". By doing so, he voluntarily gave away an intimate, private detail that other men are smart enough to not to. Once those pictures get out, any time he walks into a meeting, everyone can smirk, already knowing - and THAT must also be a pretty humiliating feeling for The World's Richest Person.

The pictures haven't been released yet, National Enquirer is keeping them in reserve as their ace, while Bezos desperately tries to recruit corrupt Democrat-friendly "law agencies" like Preet Brara's SDNY to intimidate the NE. (The fact that Bezos is in such a panic to get the pictures back suggests he doesn't have much there, another humiliation for The World's Richest Person.) But Bezos also realizes that if his goons lean too hard, NE could publish the pix anywhere, anytime - just upload it to a server in Finland and there's squat Bezos can do to stop it.

Think about that - a guy has 137 Billion (that 137,000 Million) Dollars, more money than every Freeper here COMBINED will ever make in our lifetimes, and he can't do one damn thing to put the toothpaste back in the tube that HE squeezed out. Now THAT'S frustration.

Be grateful for your poor, simple life.

-“the stupid part of the equation goes to Sears who developed the process utilizing the technology of the time. -Can you elaborate on that? Sure. Sears pioneered the mail order business almost 100 years ago. Their process and procedure was essentially the same as Amazons is today. Sears; browse through their catalog Amazon; browse through their database Sears; select product and write pn and qty on paper order form Amazon; select product click on desired field, click on qty Sears; put order firm in preaddressed envelope and mail Amazon; click on method of payment click buy I did the shortened versions of their process flows but you get the idea. Sears, Instead on changing and adapting with new technology, remained stuck in their old 20th century paradigm. Amazon, came along, adapted new technology, user friendly, fast, don’t have to get off the couch, etc, etc, and has essently put Sears out of business. Remains to be seen if Amazon will stay current with technology or even create new technology. It appears to me most businesses eventually become complacent and stale. Few are able to continually reinvent themselves. We shall see 😏...
