Just as in life, gardening has its peaks and valleys, its ups and downs, its ebbs and flows. Take a humorous look at the 8 stages of gardening...

Been there.
I went out gardening in the snow and severely broke my ankle. Over a month later I have to keep it elevated and put no weight on it. Aaarrrggg.
Thanks for posting.
Get an Earthpulse unit, or a Revitive unit to help your ankle.
That stinks. Hope you heal up soon.
I grew heirloom tomatoes last year...all from seed...
Krim and Black Cherry....magnificent (huge) crop and taste.
Fortunately, had a farmer friend as an adviser who told me the importance of hardening off my seedlings.
I’ve got a ways to go before I can plant tomatoes in the spring.
Where’s the hell with it, rototill the mess and go to the farmers market stage?
Slather DMSO on it 8x daily and take MSM internally. Take 5000 vitamin D from Now Foods. I have done this! DMSO needs to be diluted with 25% pure water.
I know the EMFs. I also advised MSM internally plus Vitamin D. And many DMSO applications daily outside.
As above so below.... As in internal and external, a double whammy on what ails you. You cannot undo until you overdo. This means higher dosages of benign supplements than what you read on internet.
For example I buy one kilo Glucosmaine HCl from BULK SUPPLEMENTS And choke down one heaping teaspoon daily in divided does. MSM a bit more. Magnesium Ascorbate too where I get Mag for heart health and lots of Vitamin C.
I planted 3 rows of frozen veggies today. I hope they do well.
Theat’s funny.
Been through all stages my self.
On a yearly basis.
My tomato crop was the best I’ve ever had last year, and yet friends, who don’t live far from me, said theirs did terrible.
My garlic did great as well.
The peas, not so much.
Shakespeare only gave us 7 stages of man. Figures the garden would out survive us....
Where can I get bacon seeds?
I don’t know.
I haven’t seen any in the gardening catalogs I’ve received.
I can relate. But I changed my life about 7 years ago and just go with whatever nature throws at me most of the year
December - prepare the soil
January - select the seeds (my one month to be in control)
February - plant the seeds indoors and care for them
March - care for sprouts and move them to the outdoor soil if/when/as appropriate
April to November - do whatever the plants, birds, chipmunks, rabbits, and bugs want.
If I see a Mexican bean beetle I spray it with Sevin immediately - those things can eat a plant in a day; my entire garden in a week if I go on vacation; and I bet they can destroy the world if left to do what they want. I can’t believe there are not horror movies about them destroying the world when I see what a few can do to an entire zucchini plant in 4 hours (and find 1000s more eggs under the leaves of other plants).
Other than the Mexican bean beetle I just “get along” with my animal friends. And I buy a lot of vegetables from Kroger to go along with the many relaxing hours I get from tending the garden throughout the year.
I pulled my peas and planted some carrots...My bush beans were great and lasted well into fall.
Ouch!
You must really like Kale or Brussel Sprouts!
