A police chief in Washington says the state's new strict gun laws are violating the US Constitution.

I have a feeling he will not be allowed to get by with this.
Will he cave in?
Have an accident?
Be thrown out of office?
Be arrested?
i’m taking bets.
Only a dollar on a dollar that he gets destroyed by politicians in verbal remarks to score points, because that’s a given
I’ll give 2 to 1 that some kind of reprimand is given, cause that’s a Little less likely.
5 to 1 that he gets suspended or some way or another punished.
10 to 1 that he has to resign, because that’s kind of a long shot
Looks like I fell for a blog.
Here's the Breitbart article:
I can imagine some sort of scandal that forces him to resign.
Seems reasonable. Democrats when elected as public officials refuse to enforce Immigration and Drug laws. The precedent has been set.
No, you can post your blog junk in full right here.
Yep, sanctuary cities are not just for immigrants anymore.
Re: Breitbart. How do I read the Comment section? For me it is faded and can’t see the Comments. Thx
The Democrats set this in motion. They made it their policy to decide which laws they would enforce. It should not come as a surprise when people begin to refuse enforcing laws they don’t like.
That is not the way our nation is suppose to work. Like I say, I blame Democrats. When they don’t get their way in election, or in the Court, they simply refuse to enforce laws.
This is not going to end well for any of us.

It’s his own blog.
What he’s doing is basically trying to get paid for a vanity thread.
Using Free Republic as a free advertising platform is pretty scummy.
Or Arkancide?
I betting the sheriff gets removed along with the whole town when Congressman Swalwell gets a nuke and uses it on Republic, Washington.

At least there are a few people willing to stand for the Constitution.
Not ONE of our elected and appointed did that on Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009
[snip] The state’s next chief executive didn’t waste any time letting locals know that their democratically-passed adoption law would be the first thing she’ll scrap. Forty-eight hours after her win, the administration seems to have a new motto: upholding the law is optional. [/snip]

While I applaud his personal beliefs, he is to enforce the law.
Let him arrest someone, they carry the fight to the Supreme Court, and let it be hashed out there.
Hunh? Not sure I’m following your “logic.”
