It's heartbreaking and very well done.
His father was murdered and then 6 yrs later his 18 yr old sister was raped and murdered.
Does anybody in the know care to offer input?

How awful. I had just heard a couple weeks ago about his father & sister being murdered. Now I learn that they were 2 separate events. What horrible luck for his family!

It’s a pointless amendment. Georgia law passed Marcy’s law last year. All those rights e it’s. No reason to put them in the state constitution

Marcy’s law was enacted in Georgia. There is ZERO need to add it to the constitution

I disagree. To misquote an old saying, "What congress giveth, congress can taketh away". As in most states, once it is added to the state constitution, the state legislature cannot amend it or repeal it without another ballot referendum. The state of Florida has a 20 year waiting period before an amendment to the state constitution can be revisited. Think of it this way, the people have spoken and the state congresscritters have to shut up about it.
He’s done a version for Nevada as well. I was very impressed by it.

As a family (I have 17 and 14 year old boys) we have been watching an episode or two of Cheers every night on Netflix (the kids love it). They got a kick out of seeing Kelsey Grammer in the TV ads - one didn’t realize that was Frasier.
In Florida, we voted yes. Have the law in Texas, very effective.
