I agree with all that you say except one thing. I think a recess appointment expires at the end of each Congress. This Congress expires January 2019. An appointment would last only 3 or 4 months.
A recess appointment made in the next Congress would last until January 2021. But if we pick up seats, why would we make a recess appointment? I’d appoint Kavanaugh and tell the Dems to suck it. If we lose seats, then we won’t get anyone, and there won’t be a recess to make appointments in.
Under California law, as with almost every other state, in order for a person to identify publicly as a psychologist they must be licensed by the California Board of Psychology, a process that includes 3,000 hours of post-doctoral professional experience and passing two rigorous exams.
To call oneself a psychologist without being licensed by a state board is the equivalent of a law school graduate calling herself a lawyer without ever taking the bar exam.
According to records, Ford is not licensed in the state of California. A recent search through the Department of Consumer Affairs License Bureau, which provides a state-run database of all licensed psychologists in California, produced no results for any variation of spelling on Ford’s name.
If Ford at one time had a license but it is now inactive, she would legally still be allowed to call herself a “psychologist” but forbidden from practicing psychology on patients until it was renewed. However, the database would have shown any past licenses granted to Ford, even if they were inactive.
She has not passed the exam required for license in CA. As she lives and works there, that is pretty major.

8. Do you find it interesting or coincidental or convenient that we are now delaying a vote until the vicinity of Oct 3 which is the test of the Presidential Alert System? Remember that the original vote was scheduled to be the same day as the test, but then both got delayed? Is that significant? It sure seems like it to me. But why?
Current CREDIBLE allegations. Which I think rules out all but Ford's.
If the FBI plays this right, they'll issue a report in a couple of days of a finding of "not enough evidence".
Of course, witnesses can be "got to" to change their stories ($$). I've watched the derps dirty tricks for some time now. They have an opportunity here, and they'll try to make the most of it.

IMO, taken together with the prior sentence, it means their playbook is deliberate irrationality, with the ANTIFA lunacy setting the mood [BAIT] for the "majority" to become unhinged enough for the impeachment shenanigans and mob rule a la the French Reign of Terror (their prototype-ideal being the Jacobins).

Personally, I don’t think Grassley got played. Kavanaugh got through the hearing with a vote and a positive public opinion, despite a freak show including arrested protesters and congress critters sitting on the floor. He does have to show the public that all concerns are addressed appropriately.
The Dems will always shout that it’s all wrong and inappropriate, but I believe Grassley is playing to the public’s expectations that complaints, charges of rape are taken seriously and “both sides of the aisle” are heard and responded to. And now, the public is not interested in watching more of it - so that makes it harder for the “show” in the next round. And more have been red-pilled to the obstructionism and scams in play.
The public has to see that the rule of law has been restored, and that they can begin to trust that officials will follow the rules and work to be bipartisan.

Because they’ve agreed to the rule. That means they have cover. That means there will be a floor vote regardless.
Any new crazies will be shown the door. There will be a floor vote.
Pols know that history is being written real-time. The historical passage that would say “the Republicans disallowed an additional FBI inquiry into the allegations” is a disastrous record.
To compensate for the historical record, the Republicans call for and POTUS authorizes a one-week FBI check into the current allegations. The history notes the Republicans arranged for the FBI to probe the current credible allegations only. The historical note will end by saying the FBI found no evidence to corroborate the allegations. End of story.
If the Democrats try to interject a further note into the historical record that new allegations arose, the historian may write that Congress rejected such moves as partisan chicanery.
The Dems may screech their protests, but the Repubs will have their cover. They gave the Dems what they wanted, so they can proceed to vote.
It’s over.

Very nice outside-the-box thinking on Kavanaugh but I believe he is one of the good guys. I don’t think President Trump would go through all this trouble only to have his SCJ nominee fail. The deep state showed their insane hand and went all-in to try to destroy this person. That goes against the possibility that President Trump would eventually be in on this since they have it all.
To deceive the deep state, perhaps, but I would think it isn’t to set up Kavanaugh for impeachment later. Rather maybe it is a way to set up the deep state to call for FBI investigations and they end up looking in to the character assassination of a SCJ nominee and what all dark forces are behind it? That may include what Q might be hinting to us with ChiDiFi being in China.
Perhaps this will lead to an investigation in to ChiDiFi taking orders from another country on all this which just adds more treason to the list of traitors. I do hope the left’s call for an FBI’s investigation in to this backfires on them BIGLY. Just more food for thought.
