Mayor de Blasio is a such a big believer in the free press that he let two bodyguards physically remove a credentialed Post reporter who had the temerity to ask him a question in public on Sunday.
The unusual muzzling unfolded at the start of the annual Dominican Day Parade in Manhattan, where the reporter sought de Blasios reaction to The Posts front page story about his administrations many meetings with lobbyists.

And the Post will meekly play it down.
Typical leftist fascist POS......
DeCommieo = Commie-fa
So Trump can have Acosta hauled away with no problems, right?
Actually, it's the people in the Midwest that have it the worst. They get De-Commie-o's stench emanating from New York mingling with the stench from Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown and his soon-to-be successor Gavin "Moonbat" Newsome emanating from Sacramento.
Let the spin begin
“The stench of his numerous misdeeds must reach all the way to the West Coast.”
Can imagine how awful the stench of De Blasio, but here on the West Coast the stench is of forest, and brush fires. Fortunately for us the “Holy Fire” immediately to the SW of us the ash, and smoke blow over to the West of us. We are breathing OK, but the smell like I said is of burning brush.
Perhaps we are fortunate.
See, see! Trump stated this though!
Newspapers around the world, unite!
Oh no. It was the Dominican parade and I missed it. The watchers at this parade are as enthusiastic as the marchers. Not to be missed, tourists, if you’re here next year.
Was this guy ranting like a lunatic, or was he just asking a question? There is a difference.
He should be charged, along with his thugs.
Acosta rants like a lunatic. So Trump is covered if he wants to eject him like a ripe lugy.
They can demand that Acosta surrender his credential for disturbing the peace, and ask him to leave the room.
They should not lay a finger on him.
If he fails to leave, then he can be arrested.
Where’s John Hinckley when the Nation really needs him?
So the Mayor of Blasio hates the “media” too? Somebody call April and Jimmie and get them over there to beat up on da Mayor for a while.
But Trump... < /sarc >
The media silence is deafening
there shall be NO media favourable to President Trump. only FakeNewsMSM for all:
12 Aug: Real Clear Politics: NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio: CNN Has No “Hourly Political Bias,” Rupert Murdoch/FOX News Dividing America By Race
By Tim Hains
Appearing on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” with Brian Stelter NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio says “CNN and the major networks do not harbor a daily, hourly political agenda” and Fox News and the NY Post, both owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp, “created a dynamic... where race was infused into the dialogue in a very negative way.”...
“There is no Donald Trump without News Corp. I firmly believe that. He never gets to the presidency, because he would never have been elevated the way he was consistently for years and years,” he also said...
“CNN on a regular basis provides both sides of the story”...
“If one agrees and look at the facts over decades, does News Corp have a clear right wing agenda? I think that one is pretty obvious.
“Do they sensationalize, racialize and divide? Yes. Does that compare to CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, ‘The New York Times’, ‘The Washington Post’? No.”...
bury the FakeNewsMSM.
7 Jul: The Local Spain: Obama in Spain: ‘We’re seeing a global rise in nationalism’
Former US President Barack Obama warned in Madrid on Friday (July 7) of “a rise in nationalism” and the potential of new media to accelerate social divisions...
“Change is happening very quickly. People are wondering can I adapt to these changes? People are fearful,” the former president told an audience of 2,000 people at a conference in Madrid on technological innovation and the circular economy, which minimises waste...
“Today because of the internet, and because of the multiplicity of media what we see more and more is that we don’t agree on the same reality.”
The former Democrat president highlighted in particular the US Fox News network,.
“If you watch Fox News you see a different reality than if you read the New York Times, he said. “Climate change is not happening at all” in media like Fox.
This phenomenon “has been “exploited by some forces internationally”, which “feed their biases”.
The solution, according to Obama, ***is to train young people”to think differently”.
Obama, who was to travel on to Porto in Portugal on Friday to attend a climate change conference, has criticised his successor President Donald Trump for failing to consider scientific research on the subject.
6 Jul: Observerdor Portugal: Obama’s appearance did not bring selfies nor Trump, but it filled the Harbor Coliseum
by Cátia Bruno
The Porto-Madrid connection comes thanks to the Advanced Leadership Foundation, with an office in the Spanish capital, and to its Iberian strategy. It is thanks to hin, the President of the Foundation, Juan Verde, will later explain to the Observer that it was possible to bring Obama to Portugal...
Juan Verde, a former Obama aide, told the Observer that if he was in the former president’s shoes “he would be more aggressive with the Trump administration.” “But President Obama is not like that,” he adds...
But the answers go beyond purely climate and sustainability issues, with the former President speaking, for example, of the media crisis. “Democracy works if we all agree more or less on the same facts,” he says, explaining that he can not have a discussion about the environment with someone who says, “I do not believe the world is hotter, this is all a conspiracy.” “If that person says ‘these data are invented, I do not believe them,’ I do not know how to argue with them,” he says, before reflecting on the polarization in his country and what he considers to be “the alternative realities” of those who consume news through Fox News and those who read the New York Times...
