Melania Trump was out in Washington DC yesterday evening with her son Barron, 12, husband Donald Trump, 72 and a surprising addition to the usual Trump clan, her glamorous mother, Amalija Knavs.
Showing the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, Melania’s mother looked equally as glamorous as the First Lady.
Formally a pattern maker at the children's clothing manufacturer Jutranjka in Sevnica, Slovenia, Amalija joined the Trump family as they visited US military base, Joint Base Andrews.
The mother daughter duo looked happy and relaxed as they walked with Melania’s 12-year-old son Barron, with president Trump also in attendance.

The cigarette trousers were tight around Melania’s toned legs, and cut off just above the ankle.
She paired the flatteringly-cut trousers with a sky-high pair of yellow pointed toe stilettos, perfect for the hot summers day.
Toning down the ensemble, she finished the look off with a crisp white shirt with stiff collar and turned up sleeves, oozing businesslike sophistication.
Shielding her eyes from the bright son she wore a unusual pair of black sunglasses with a straight top.
She wore her caramel locks lose and down, again toning down the more daring outfit choice.
By her side, Melania’s mother wore a similar outfit style to her daughter, with fitted trousers and pale pink sky-high stilettos.
She wore a pale pink trouser suit which she paired with a simple white blouse.
Like her daughter she was also sporting a pair of black oversized sunglasses, keeping her eyes from sight.
Later in the day, Melania, Barron and Donald were spotted disembarking from Air Force Once upon arrival at Morristown airport in Morristown, New Jersey.
The trio were en route to Bedminster, New Jersey, where they are set to spend the weekend.

Trump wears a suit AND a tie! That’s the uniform of a President. Glad he’s not one for that BS jacket-and-open-collar look.
So very nice to have class restored to the White House and someone that respects the office.
Melania has fashion sense and always looks classy!
PDJT has the respect to wear ties & jackets for the official office he holds.

Are you talking about Melania? Eastern Europeans aren’t big on smiling all the time - talk to Russians about this. She still projects beauty and kindness. And behind those sunglasses, she looks just like Jacqueline Bisset.
I never really considered Slovenia Eastern Europe.

I have to say that this is the first time I’ve even heard of Melania’s mother being a part of her life. I guess it is another instance of non-news not being reported by the Enemedia.

CrazyIvan was spotted today dining at a chic Subway in the Mississippi river town of Oqawka, sometimes known as the “Redneck Riviera”. He was dressed in ratty denim shorts which highlighted his hairy legs, knobby knees and numerous scars, one of which bears an uncanny likeness to a steel Suzuki foot peg. A faded Hawaiian shirt one size too large is worn fashionably untucked discretely covering a Boker automatic knife, a Ruger LC9S and a slightly protruding belly that has held a bit too much IPA. Almost completely grey hair that may have been combed yesterday complements two day stubble

My 12-year-old son is taller than I am, although I keep telling him that it’s just because he’s wearing shoes. (Take two medium-height parents, add good nutrition, etc.)
Same here, though I admire the older lady for wearing stilettos without breaking a hip. What is going on hear is how we grew up thinking about proportions. I find high heels and high-water pants just odd, but to a contemporary of Melania’s they likely look fine. But how I lived that gorgeous punk suede dress she wore a few days ago!
