I have an apron with this on it. I used to wear it when A family member would come over that really hated the fact that we ate venison. Tried for years to convince us not to, even buying Bambi on dvd for my kids.

When I process my deer all of the burger packages are marked "Bambi Burger."

“Does anyone here happen to be a vegan?” said nobody, ever.

If someone is, there’ll be no need to ask.

Being an omnivore has some advantages. Like butterflied elk loin steaks with fried potatoes and eggs and biscuits for breakfast. In the mountains of Idaho. Getting the meat into camp can work up an appetite veggies alone just can’t handle.
Things always taste better above 7000 feet above sea level in October and November.

I love vegans. They leave use more deer, elk, beef, etc etc to eat. I took a moose In 1984. Took me the wife and our two youngsters a year to eat it. Didn’t buy a deer tag or an elk tag that year. My freeze was full.

Bambi’s mom would taste better.

Buck meat has a stronger taste. I prefer a young doe to a buck any day.
