Would you ever live in an upscale Southern suburb like Parkland, Fla.?

No. But then again I would not reside anywhere in Florida even if I had billion$. Just not one of my favorite places, in the U.S. or on the planet.

Amen to that. I just bought property in Gulf County Fl. Can’t wait to get my retirement dwelling started.

Spot on analysis. We live in rural north central Florida. We don't know any liberals around here.

We retired here from Arizona, where I grew up. My friends there think of Florida as golf, beaches, palm trees and Miami.

I've lived here 7 years now. Haven't played any golf. Haven't been to the beach. No palm trees around our farm. And I wouldn't go within a 100 miles of Miami and southern Florida.

Did I mention I raise beef cattle and don't get off the farm much? :-)

Yes, that word “Southern” stands out like a sore thumb in the title. It’s too bad that so much of Florida has turned so northern. We wreck everything.

After arriving there in the 60’s I saw the gradual change as the Good Ole Boys headed N to Brevard and the Carolinas

It depends on the culture that you’re accustomed to. For example, someone from the northeast or the west coast would probably enjoy a place like Parkland. The same person might not like, say, a less trendy, more conformist or morally strict area in the Midwest.

Spend time in New Jersey, the land of the liberal hypocrite

The limousine liberals cry about minority rights and racism but won’t let one move into their town. NJ has the most racially segregated neighborhoods and school districts in the country.

Liberalism is the mental disorder.

Diversity in NJ means that the black and latinos live in the Ghetto and crumbling blue collar neighborhoods while the white and asians live in the McMansion Suburbs. Its humorous.

To be honest, I was talking about living in a Progressive area inside a Free America territory (red county).

Parkland is one of the best places to live in South Florida. I doubt that it’s as liberal or Democrat as the rest of the area.

Remember the crooked media cherry picked which Tide-pod-eating students to give airtime.

The city of Sarasota is full of leftys and they run the local government in that area. Charlotte county would be cheaper anyway, check out the Placida area - it’s truly a hidden gem!

When I bought my first house in Colorado I could have purchased one in Boulder. It would have made more sense economically as the house prices were going up faster there than anywhere else due to the influx of California liberals.

But the thought of living there 24/7 just creeped me out too much, so I chose Louisville instead. At the time, it was a solid Republican city with just a smattering of liberal nonsense.

I was scoping that area out on line but the proximity to water on 2 sides made me feel HO ins and flood ins would be greater than a bit more n/e e/ne of there

No. It appears they are not committed to student safety.

I was looking more towards the S end of Sarasota County not Sarasota itself

I live in one of the most Trumpiest Towns in the most Trumpiest County in New Jersey, so the BS that happens in the rest of the state doesn’t spill down here as much. Other then once in a while an Obama son will come down here to ransack and rob a house here and there. But they are usually easy to identify (home surveillance systems/Ring) and get busted.

Last week the police were looking for an Obama Son who robbed a house and his car was a late model BMW. Welfare must pay good these days.

Parkland is not part of Broward Drainage District. Hence every single time it rains the whole town floods out worked there for 6 years as part of a electrical contractor whose office was in Coral Springs 4 miles away. Filthy rich houses and people with no street drainage cause the whole place is below sea level. If you gave me a 2 mullion dollar house there the next day its up for sale......very dumb layout of the city 1 main drag with a traffic circle in the middle of it all HOAS are gated thus locking in the bad guys everything is farmed out Coral Springs does Fire Coral Springs Police does the cops all except the school done by BSO Broward Sheriffs Office...
