You should know about being rude.

I'm waiting for your challenge.

Where is your objection to my post?

To what specifically do you object?

Man up, explain your objection.

I don’t object to your post. In fact my post buttressed the validity of what you wrote. I mean the first thing everyone here thinks of when they see the name humblegunner is rudeness. Therefore you are an expert in the field.

So you assumed rudeness where there was none?

How many millions must the doctor pay based on her word?

Phone records

And if they need conversations I'm sure the NSA can be helpful(/sarc)

Again, the comment was not really about the post, but rather your expertise in rudeness.

Don’t understand this mother. If her child had a bad asthma attack, then WHY, oh WHY leave the office? Or go to the emergency room

Shaking my head...

I made an appointment about 18 hours in advance. An emergency came up and I called before the office opened and left a message cancelling the appointment. I was having a problem with My Chart or I would have also left a message there also.

I got an email the next day about the missed appointment. I called and explained I had left a message. The following day I got a phone call and I again explained that I did call. They said it wasn’t 24 hours in advance. I told them the appointment wasn’t made 24 hours in advance. The following day I got a letter in the mail. That was the last straw. I called and wasn’t real nice. She said she would ask the office manager to remove the mark. I told her not to bother, I would find another doctor. I did find another doctor.

They called a couple days later to let me know the missed appointment had been removed from my file.

I will never see another Mercy Health doctor again.

I have had so many horror stories with them.

A few that have increased my chances of getting cancer. I refused to pay those bills and they never said a word. Another error where they didn’t send my prescription in, even though they said they did. I went from Wed. A before Thanksgiving until Mos. evening causing me to have simple partial seizures.

I sat in their waiting rooms long past their 15 minute rule that applies to us peon patients.

My husband’s insurance only allows him to see Mercy doctor

s. He was 18 minutes late yesterday due to an accident on the road. They said they needed special permission to see him.

If you only knew the level of miscommunication and mismanagement going on...different word meanings to different education level...experience...word accents...simple human brain fogs..errors in speaking...ambient noise interference...misguided policies...human tiredness...patient indifference..patient ignorance...budget control...drug shortages...emergencies..people calling in sick..people working while ill...personnel animosities...harassment...computer failure...bad handwriting..short staffing.etc.

All above contribute to glaring errors which occur and are somehow corrected before getting to patient..but some get through...

2 times a row I tried to have a stress test. The first time they put the isotope under my skin, not in my vein, second time isotope with the wrong marker. The tech admitted she did not look at the isotope market because things had always been correct in the past.

The hospital sent me a letter stating it didn’t meet the level that had to be reported to some board.

Probably by the time I had the third test, at another hospital I had reached the level.

Just had visions of Denzel in a hospital - I wouldn’t have left and then no telling if I’d be dead or locked up because of the aftermath...

That is heartbreaking. Why would anyone want to bring that kind of “medical care” to America? Because it’s fair. They don’t think it is fair that some people get better care than others simply because they can afford better care. To them everyone should be treated the same regardless of ability to pay.

Second, because they think despite all evidence to the contrary that government can do it cheaper because the they will do it without profit. They completely ignore the fact that the lack of accountability that anything done by government brings.

They are oblivious to the fact that government really does not care how much it cost or how long it takes or who gets hurt in the progress.
