Did Dicks make the corporate decision to stop selling the dreaded AR, high capacity mags and change the age to sell a firearm to 21 on their own or were they pressured? At any rate I will not be shopping at Dicks any longer over their stupid heart string tug decision. The AR has never killed a sole or creature without the assistance of a human to make the interaction function as designed.
Again? Didn’t they take this virtue-signaling stance before to their detriment?
I thought they did this after Sandy Hook.
Dicks stopped selling the dreaded sport utility rifles quite a while ago. Bet you can still get 5.56 there.
Who cares? I havent been in Dicks store in at least ten years. And, Im for sure not going to start shopping there now.
I believe they were the ones to stop selling ammo or something after one of the shootings.
This is not a surprise and won't help their sales. The people that they're catering to wouldn't have bought a scary, evil, black gun to begin with!
Bye, Dicks.

I’m surprised Academy sports hasn’t put them clean out of business yet. A bit over priced IMO.
Daughter of founder ran for Congress, as a Democrat.

They did this before, and i stopped going there years ago. This is not new, i don’t think?
—yep—they supposedly did it then , which is when I stopped buying there-—
"...We said, We need to do something,'" Stack, whose father, Dick, started the business 70 years ago, explained. "And were taking these guns out of all of our stores permanently."
I’m done with them.
The Dicks by me doesn’t sell handguns either.
I never cared for dicks.
“Again? “
I think so, I remember some years ago they stopped selling black rifles. I ignored them so hard back then I didn’t notice when they started again.
OR, they never started selling ARs again and are just reminding us now of that decision from, maybe, eight years ago.
I wouldn’t purchase any firearm from a sporting goods store anyway. Batting gloves and sweat pants, yes, but no firearms......
We didn’t shop there anyway. Now we have another reason to not shop there.
double entendre! Cute.
