John Wick: Chapter 3 doesn't hit theaters until 2019, but fans can catch Keanu Reeves' ex-hitman in Starz's small-screen spin-off of the successful franchise called The Continental.
'You can expect to see him at some point of the series,' Starz programming head Carmi Zlotnik said Friday at the TCA winter press tour - according to Deadline.
The evergreen 53-year-old will also executive produce the show centered around the Continental Hotel, the JW unverse's refuge for Los Angeles' criminal underworld.
Producer-writer Chris Collins (Sons of Anarchy, The Wire, The Man in the High Castle) pens The Continental and serves as showrunner.
Original director Chad Stahelski - a former stuntman - will helm the premiere.

I have pretty much boycotted every hollywood puke. I would crawl over broken glass to see any of his movies. Truly humble decent man.

I’ve met him at least three times in the 80’s. He’s cute. Doesn’t wash very well and smells like motorcycle exhaust, played bass in a very boring band, too, but cute, Canadian cute.
He’s very handsome, too. Even an Ol’ Lady like me can still appreciate God’s handiwork ;-)
The dog killing was a masterful bit of psychology to get the audience rooting for the cold blooded assassin. So satisfying to see bad guys dying with their last words being “But it was just a dog!”
Reeves changed after Speed. He went through a piece of hell and never found the peace of heaven. That hell is what we see.

It makes him one of the few actors I watch without reservation.
He has other interests besides acting.
Music and building custom motorcycles.
He comes across as a pretty down to earth guy.
Just curious, did he come off as a Hollywood clown or a regular Joe?
I was thinking about dumping Starz, but not now. I can’t wait. John Wick is the only character who sells more guns than Obama did. I hope he goes back to H&K instead of Glock as in the last movie.

I really like the Ian McShane character also, and the end of John Wick 2 was very clever to show the depth of what he is against.
There’s a Youtube of him training for John Wick and the shooting he does in the film. Let’s just say you wouldn’t want to break into his house. He lays down an AMAZING amount of lead, accurately, in that training film.
I like him and have thoroughly enjoyed the cinematic violence of the Wick films.....wife enjoyed them too so she is obviously a sadistic, bloodthirsty carnivore and I’m proud she has agreed to be mine.....as Louis L’Amore would say, “One to walk the river with”
