Drudge Report has been consistently conservative as long as I remember. Yet, of late, I feel like he's kind of ant-Trump, even anti conservative. If so, why?

As far as Drudge he never was what most of you thought he was. He thought of himself as a libertarian but he isn't.

I view the Drudge perceived shift to the left as a knee jerk reaction, as I view the latest Bannon/Trump kerfuffle. With regard to Bannon/Trump, both are alfa males who come at each other straight away, bare fisted. What I do not appreciate is Bannon airing his differences with Trump in public. I continue to believe that both believe strongly in the America First objective, but disagree on how to get there.

Agree he’s gone more anti Trump. Many moons ago I gave Drudge a headline a very interesting experience he called minutes after I emailed him and the headline went up as we spoke. From our brief conversation I felt he did not like certain liberals at the time. So I have a bit of a soft spot for him. But Trump is my main man now so I don’t like Drudge dissing him.

You are absolutely right. Drudge moved left a long time ago. Almost right after Trump won the election. It was real apparent to me. I used to have Drudge as my Home Page. Now I don’t even have him on my Favorites Bar and I rarely if ever go to the site. Something changed Matt Drudge radically. Many in the base see this clearly. It’s really too bad.
