Corruption or Coincidence? Uranium-Gate and Harry Reid .
www.freerepublic.com ^ | Oct 27 2017 | Nateman

In a previous post I raised the possibility that Harry Reid went for the Nuclear Option rule change for judges to guarantee conformation of a hand picked Obama stooge. Theodore D Chuang  obstructed the Congressional investigation into Benghazi before he was selected to become the Federal judge who would get the Uranium One cases in Maryland. Chuang’s task was to settle the Russian Corruption cases quietly so Congress would not become aware of how they were kept out of the known corruption behind the Uranium deal

I’ve come across two more pieces of the puzzle. A 1872 Mining Law reform bill which got past the House was consistently killed by Reid. The 1872 law allows miners to get minerals for free. If Reid was in bed with the Russian Uranium deal that would explain the opposition of a man who normally loves any form of taxation. Another piece I collected from OpenSecrets.com. The Uranium deal went down in 2010. Notice how much money Dirty Harry got in that year compared to the others:

Harry Reid is estimated to be worth 10 million $. Not bad for a public servant. Who knows how much more is squirreled away in secret bank accounts?

I don't know. I do know that when he gets into fights with rubber bands he loses. Badly.

--no, it doesn't but the explanation is longer than I wish to expound upon--(and I'm not trying to defend Dirty Harry)--

The best article about the Uranium One deal was done by the NYT in 2015. It is well worth the read:

Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal

My favorite part of that 2015 NYT's article:

...despite assurances by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission that uranium could not leave the country without Uranium One or ARMZ obtaining an export license — which they do not have — yellowcake from his property was routinely packed into drums and trucked off to a processing plant in Canada.

Asked about that, the [Nuclear Regulatory] commission confirmed that Uranium One has, in fact, shipped yellowcake to Canada even though it does not have an export license. Instead, the transport company doing the shipping, RSB Logistic Services, has the license...

That's the smoking gun against CNN and Snopes, et al, claiming the uranium could not be exported.

Agree totally. It also traces some of the payments made to the Clinton Foundation. Peter Schweizer deserves a tremendous amount of credit. IMO the FBI has had an ongoing investigation into the Clinton Foundation for some time and it was probably triggered by Clinton Cash. There were also some interesting emails provided by Wikileaks.

If the mining reform bill had not been blocked by Reid would mining Uranium cost more , less , or stay the same?

Note that the 2015 NYT article admits it based its reporting on an advance copy of Schweizer’s book.

Which is a lot like the Clinton tactic of “its old news, already been discussed.” And right now thy are desperate to not have thßt one company be investigated for whom it paid off to do what, like probably payola to the journalists.
