Full Title:10/07/2017 -- New Earthquake activity brewing -- West Coast USA + New deep EQ event coming?
Video at link. USA coverage extends from 6:43 to 29:25 with a brief break in between (discussion of non-US activity). He makes the point that the USGS did not report a 5+ earthquake off the coast of Northern California but Alaska resources did report it.
His USA predictions are mild and mostly effect west coast, Nevada, Colorado, Kansas etc. Off the coast of northern California he predicts a possible 5.1 and that the energy would transfer to movement in other US locations (smaller earthquakes). The vlogger appeals to some of us - he's not an "official" with USGS or any other agency. He's a layperson who had developed his own theories that some of us find useful. He's got 218,000 subscribers so he's not exactly a small niche but, he's not an "official" employed by the gov.
Following the US report in this video, I found his discussion of Mexican volcanoes interesting.
clarification : EQ event?
earth quake
nope its just the rumbling from stampede of illegals into and CA, and citizens who are sick of it exiting CA /sarc
"So Long, It's Been Good To Know You" - The Weavers (posted here with "tongue-in-cheek", so-to-speak).
(May all FR founders, and members, and other good people, be spared completely from any negative effects of any future quakes there.)
“he predicts a possible 5.1”
And he shall take credit for any quake measure from 3.5 to 5.5 in the “West Coast” (million square miles) in the next 30 days. Quick, send him money.
I predict North East Asia will have a huge 4.3 mag earthquake sometime this week. That energy will transfer to the South America by the end of the week, within days of that huge Asian quake. My paypal info is ...
Before his groundbreaking research into Earthquakes, he was into Tornado predictions.
Guess the career in Tornadoes did not pan out for Youtube videos... after all, tornadoes tend to be active only during springtime. But earthquakes have no season or restricted by continents. Earthquake “prediction” from his basement is amazing. If only “they” listen to him. But send him money so that he can continue his “research” into quakes.
In ten days, it will mark the 28th anniversary of the Loma Prieta Earth Quake. I recall it vividly from Oct. 17th, 1989.
Magnitude 6.9
Total Damage $5.7 Billion.
I was waiting for a train at a Bart Station in Walnut Creek, Ca. I have been waiting for ‘the other shoe to drop’ since that day.
I can tell you don’t watch his channel - his parameters are specified at the time of prediction and I’ve never heard one exceed 7 days and many are 5 or 3 days. He ignores those which occur outside the timing window.
I believe he’s plus/minus 1 on intensity and I know he ignores anything outside of 200 mile range, not million square miles per you. I never send him money. Okay, I get it, you don’t like him but your info is inaccurate. I’m satisfied that his accuracy in info is better than yours. Let’s just agree to disagree, mkay?
I sense the sarcasm, but a 4.3? lol, that wouldn’t even wake me up (and I am a very light sleeper ;^))
You know, I really should send him money as I benefit from the info and find his methodology interesting. Really worth money to me. Will do.
There is one certainty: We are one day close to the next big earthquake in California. Beyond that, it might be next week or several decades before the next earthquake that produces moderate to severe structural damage and loss of life.
If that fault slips, it won’t be “moderate to severe structural damage.”
It will be “total destruction, and an unimaginable loss of life.”
And all the leftist thugs that advocated not helping Houston Hurricane victims may live to regret their lack of compassion.
Agreed. sager has some issue with him that doesn’t really make sense. Unless he works for in the field and gets mocked by Dutch. Periodically enjoy his updates and never heard him beg for money, nor have I sent any.
“And all the leftist thugs that advocated not helping Houston Hurricane victims may live to regret their lack of compassion. “
You are assuming they are capable of self assessment. It will not happen. Look at Hillary as an example.
When Loma Prieta hit, I was still at work in Mountain View (SW bay area). Basement secure area with 8-inch reinforced concrete walls and bank-vault style door. The false ceiling was 4-inch reinforced concrete suspended by wires from above.
My biggest worries were the false ceiling coming down, and the vault door jamming closed. Neither happened.
Maybe LA and SanFran will finally break off and disappear beneath the waves, like the old sin city of Port Royal. Nah, no such luck!
