Interesting theory
Just a theory, but that absolutely would make sense.
They would NEVER tell us.
Theories are not news.
It would make sense if the raw material were Plutonium; you can use remote sensing with a Uranium-based weapon.
With Plutonium you gotta be SUPER SUPER close.
Hmmm...vexing.
Everywhere you turn in the military you find time and attention (even on deck) spent on completely STUPID stuff, but then again NO ONE believe in the transparency claims of the US Gummint, these days (as in if there were bomb potential).
So both potential explanations make sense.
Hmmm....
The information about the dirty bomb plot is news and the connection to the Fitzgerald and McCain is the theoretical part. In addition, I contend that the fact that the water in the area is so irradiated due to the Japanese reactor collapse that longer range methods won’t work is also news.
The part that gives me pause, though, is the USN deaths:
If the collisions had been part of a raw-material related RAMMING, well then you’d expect that everyone would be braced, in a different part of the ship, etc.
And then, why not simply perform a BOARDING..?
By chopper, or, more stealthily, by RIB.
A dirty bomb in a container or tanker? Meh, no biggie, not worth upsetting the "little people" by mentioning the possibility or the fact that we consider it a real enough threat to be actively looking for anything like that.
is that Gleason
I covered this on another thread.
Bogus story being floated by Al Reuters.
Even far more bogus than NK using ICBM to create EMP pulse.
No, I completely agree, the Saudis could absolutely know, then tell us NOTHING.
But again, if we had our fears and wanted to check, why not simply do so at sea, with a chopper..?
Or have some SEALs do board fantail of the dubious vessels from a souped-up Avon raft..?
In other words, why perform the load check using a ship COLLISION..?
Who was paying for the use of the ships?
Who was onboard and with what affiliations?
Excellent questions.
TURD
Who was aboard?
They would be way too deep. In Army, I had 4 sets of IDs.
My real ID,
Two issued, one American, the other Icelandic (both phony)
My own created fake one, Rhodesian.
Anyone aboard ship would be way too deep for anything other than a BI to uncover, and how do you do a BI in Heilongjiang Province?
Even if they limited themselves to boarding ships headed to China getting everyone in the region to go along with that would be a problem since there are so many disagreements in the area over what is and isn't International waters.
Close passes by a helicopter seem like the best solution but apparently that isn't an option if the real reason for allowing cargo ships to get close is that they have to be close in order to check them out.
He does put forth some compelling arguments. I’ve been watching many of FM’s videos since the Fitzgerald incident. I have no doubt in my mind that those ships were deliberately rammed.
Uh, guys? Why would you scan a thousand foot long ship by passing in front of it? Would it not make far more sense to pass along side of the target ship to be scanned and only need to scan across the width of the ship as you steal along side instead of trying to scan the distance through the length of the ship as you dart across the oncoming bow?
Just a common sense observation that shoots your theory, er, out of the water, so-to-speak.
