Varys becomes a personal final sacrifice for the little people of the realm?

I was kind of reminded of Dragon Age Origins; with a civil war, Grey Wardens (Night’s Watch), deathspawn (White Walkers & wights) and an arch-demon (Ice Dragon).
Admittedly, Warcraft III predates it by several years.

"Do you think the dead dragon has enough firepower to melt the wall?"
How do we know the dragon will be breathing fire? He might be breathing ice now, but you bring up a good point. We know that the undead cannot go beyond the wall because of ancient magic built into it's base (this from Benjen Stark), so how do they get beyond the wall? Ergo, why is Jon so afraid of them if they can't get beyond the wall?
I'm hoping against hope that Benjen survived that wight walker attack, though it looks pretty impossible. I really like him.

No wonder the army of the dead is moving so slowly - They are carrying 20 tons of chains!

Checked out the videos on youtube about the reported leaks for Season 8 of Game of Thrones. Some of what you said works according to those leaks.

but is undermining the sisters for some reason not yet clear. Littlefinger had Sansa all to himself; but, when Bran, and then Arya, arrived he had competition for her attention.
I think he started amping up his treachery when he saw the three of them walking back from the Godswood, together. Together, they are stronger. Pulled apart, they are easier to manipulate. See how easily he manipulated Arya.
Arya needs to take that Valerian bladed knife and plunge it into his heart -- if he actually has one. He is sowing discord, and buying off servants. He needs to go. I believe the Men of the Vale will stay, because, as one of their Lords has said, "they came for you, my Lady" -- meaning, Sansa.

Defeating the ice dragon will be tricky I was wondering if the other 2 dragons would actually try to defeat their brother; or, would they hesitate or outright refuse to attack him?

Questions:
1. Where did the Dead Army get the chains?
2. How did Gendry to Dany message (via sprint across the tundra and then raven) allow Dany to return with Dragons within about 12 hours? Almost like a text message.

My guess is because Littlefinger mentioned Brienne could intervene between the two sisters so she did the opposite of what he wanted.

Why send Brienne away? Apparently Cercei sent a message for Sansa to come to Kings Landing for a parlay so Sansa sent Brienne instead. Smart move IMHO.

I can't remember where I read it (found it) but someone did a study on how many different story line types there are. At first, they said, they came up with thirty something different versions of how the plot builds, then whatever kind of drama, then the hero saves the day or some kind of variation from that.
Putting – maybe – an end to a debate that has been ongoing for millennia, the researchers found there are “six core trajectories which form the building blocks of complex narratives”. These are: “rags to riches” (a story that follows a rise in happiness), “tragedy”, or “riches to rags” (one that follows a fall in happiness), “man in a hole” (fall–rise), “Icarus” (rise–fall), “Cinderella” (rise–fall–rise), and “Oedipus” (fall–rise–fall). The most successful – here defined as the most downloaded – types of story, they find, are Cinderella, Oedipus, two sequential man in a hole arcs, and Cinderella with a tragic ending.
In the end they say there are only 6 different story line types so it's not surprising we would see similarities in different well known stories. The basics stay the same; it's the details that change.
Nothing new under the sun I guess which in an hour from the time I write this; should dim quite a bit here in AZ from the eclipse.

Brienne to Kings Landing allows for her reunion with Jamie, who ultimately will turn against his sister.

Littlefinger facilitated the betrayal of Eddard Stark
He dies
That’s his role
Stirring up tension is just to redemonstrate how nasty he is

It’s interesting to hear grown men go on about video games
I am old obviously....
It’s of course also interesting to see adults talk on about a silly supernatural medieval drama as well
But I do it
Played one video game in my life
Soldier of fortune
Early version with Nazi submarines lair I think
