It's interesting, but last night there was a 1982 western on TV ("The Shadow Riders"-with Sam Elliot and Tom Selleck) and I'm pretty sure it looked like Ken Burns stole his 'Civil War' (1990) 'style' from the 'Shadow Riders' introduction.
Can someone check that out and let me know if my take on that isn't too wild?

I thought we were done calling these phonies by phony names like “liberal” (”liberal” means “lover of liberty”). Let’s call them what they REALLY are: LEFTISTS.

I don't disagree that Burns is talented but in his heart of hearts, he would make Karl Marx proud to call him his progeny!
Use our unwilling taxed dollars to "create your product" then charge you and me (again, against our government enforced "tax contributions") to earn his millions, again, tax free, because his wealth is considered "tax-free?"

We just finished binge-watching, ‘Justified’ last winter. He was an excellent Bad Guy in that!
I used to watch all his “historical” stuff until I started seeing bits and pieces of Republican/Conservative bias’ in them.
Mom would be having the vapors about now. LOL

Oh, Yes. The world STOPPED on Wednesday evenings for my girlfriends and I. We watched, ‘Magnum, P.I.’ drank wine, and did our nails every week, then. Good Times! :)

My Mom’s, ‘Boyfriend’ is Clay Matthews of the Green Bay Packers but her, ‘Forever Love’ is James Garner. *SWOON*
I saw the title of this Forbes article and assumed it would say how Ken Burns became a millionaire, but it does not appear that he has become personally fabulously wealthy from his filmmaking.

My mom worked for “Actors Equity” (union office) in NYC in the late 40’s.
One day she comes walking out not watching where she is going and walks right into the arms of a very young chiseled jaw, blue eyed, ROBERT STACK!
My mom said he grabbed her in his arms to keep her from falling and profusely apologized to her.
She said she almost passed out and felt like she was floating on air while she just gazed into his eyes.
She quickly snapped out of it, righted herself and both went on their way.
He always smiled at her any time he came in the office after that.
I told her my last name could have been Stack. LOL
