LOL

My mom worked for “Actors Equity” (union office) in NYC in the late 40’s.

One day she comes walking out not watching where she is going and walks right into the arms of a very young chiseled jaw, blue eyed, ROBERT STACK!

My mom said he grabbed her in his arms to keep her from falling and profusely apologized to her.

She said she almost passed out and felt like she was floating on air while she just gazed into his eyes.

She quickly snapped out of it, righted herself and both went on their way.

He always smiled at her any time he came in the office after that.

I told her my last name could have been Stack. LOL
