Boy’s birth induced by lightning, not conception by lightning.

I was thinking Zeus.
Or Perseus.
Or Odin (cool name, I wouldn’t mind that one myself).

I checked to make sure she was doing reasonable OK before rendering my particular joke.
I am sure she will hear and enjoy all this after she has recovered.

I have read that Tesla was born at midnight in the middle of a lightning storm. Probably just a coincidence but still interesting.
Hope both Mother and Child do OK.

On a more serious note, I’ve never really feared lightning until I moved to Florida. In the past twelve years or so, I’ve developed a real phobia of it. I do not like being outside at all during an electrical storm here in Florida. For the 30 or so years I lived in Colorado, it never bothered me.

I checked and she has opened her eyes and is still on a ventilator but requiring less oxygen. The baby is still critical. Mom was struck by lightning in the head and there is no word on brain damage.
If you found better news please share.
