I checked and she has opened her eyes and is still on a ventilator but requiring less oxygen. The baby is still critical. Mom was struck by lightning in the head and there is no word on brain damage.

Sounds like what I found out. Sounds like mom is improving, can respond when her husband speaks to her and they are lightening her sedation. Baby was full term ( thank goodness) but is apparently not doing well ( still critical.)
