On a more serious note, I’ve never really feared lightning until I moved to Florida. In the past twelve years or so, I’ve developed a real phobia of it. I do not like being outside at all during an electrical storm here in Florida. For the 30 or so years I lived in Colorado, it never bothered me.
I have been terrified of lightning my whole life. My father,stepmother, sister & I were tubing down the Muskingham River aves ago & a huge lightning storm broke out. I was hysterical, but we found a river side restaurant & I calmed down. I wish my husband had more fear of lightning.
I used to visit my grandparents in FL & a lightening storm would whip up out of nowhere. Be safe!
