- A dashcam recorded a police chase in Ohio but it's not exactly what you're thinking. A deputy in Miami County was forced to run after his cruiser when it started to roll away during a traffic stop.
The video shows him speaking with the person he pulled over as the car slowly starts to drift backward.

As I walk along, I wonder what went wrong...
Did he write himyself a ticket?
He was chasing the car, because there were donuts on the front seat.
The gags and jokes will never end.....
There’s a reason they are called ‘PARKING BRAKES’...................
Yeah, he ran a red light!.............TWICE!...................
“Doggone-it, Roy Gene! How many times do I have to ‘splain it to you? When I tell you to put a rock under the wheel, I mean rock! Now look at that, what you have there is no bigger’n a grapefruit.”
HATE when that happens....
Precious cargo!
You think he would starve, or something?
Last month while driving the security truck around the plant I got out to secure a gate. That f150, when you stop it in gear stops and if you take your foot off the brake does not move for 5 seconds. Well. It stopped and I neglected to put in park. As I was walking toward the gate I saw it start to move out of the corner of my eye. I wheeled about and ran ten or twelve steps hard on a broken ankle that was half healed. The door was open so I caught it and pulled myself in on the doorframe handle and steering wheel. Now I look at the indicator and speak “in Park” before I get out of the truck.
Getty image, sorry.
okey dokey, sorry.
I picture in my mind the running gag in the Robin Williams movie RV.....”Dad, the RV’s rolling away.”
And the lesson here kiddies is that sometimes parking brakes are your friend.
