I heard an interview with Burt Ward for his book a few years ago where he talked about how weird it was for him. He was a fairly innocent guy in his early 20s, playing a teenager in the daytime, and going to drugged out orgies at night. If we had only known!

Oh hell yes. I was in High School but even the very politically astute. I was in college when it first came on. It was the topic of conversation for a while. Really different.
I sometimes watch episodes on METV but they started showing them so late that I haven’t seen one in a good while.
One thing which strikes me is how his “bat bulge” is so obvious that I would not watch it with my grandkids just for that reason.
It also strikes me that he probably could have been nicknamed “stubby”. I think I would have worn a cup or something just so people would not see my shortcomings.
That might also explain his claims or sexual conquests whether true or not.
