Shoulders seem to be the in thing right now. A vast improvement over exposed cleavage, in my opinion. Many women’s shirts have the shoulders cut out. It’s a look that’s growing on me (almost getting brave enough to wear one) and looks good on many women. Sarah Palin’s shirt requires that one have a collarbone that “pops” to look good, something few women have.

FWIW, just looked for Oval Office pics of Nancy Reagan, whose style I greatly admired. I could find no Oval Office pics of her with bared shoulders. The only bared shoulder pics I could find were of her in formal wear at evening functions.

Just sayin’.
