No, it was taken outdoors on his ranch, where he had been riding a horse in the sun.
I totally doubt that she would have gone for the current trashy style of lowering the top down almost to the armpits. She might have worn one that was a very wide V just about an inch below the peak of the shoulder, and only if it was clear that it was a dinner event. But she would not have worn a black skirt slit up to there and sporty brown shoes with it in a MILLION years. Tacky!
That being the case, the men should have worn low-rider jeans with the tops of their boxer shorts showing.
What works for me with the Daisy Mae look was those short, short, short...cutoff jeans.
I have no problem with the guests or the blouse.
Those are “pants on the ground”. LOL
So, I suppose that tactic, universally, is fair game.
[That book, I believe is *Chicka Chicka Boom Boom*]
So Mrs. Palin is in full promo mode; the art-of-a-deal. :)
By-the-by, where do you suppose Mr. Palin is? Looks like it was a couples event.
You're absolutely right. She has no designs on higher office, and is completely content to use her massive following to continue helping get conservatives elected with her personal endorsements. She's batting close to 1,000, so far.
And, you're absolutely wrong regarding her appeal being "sexual." Only a very pedestrian "guy" (or a Liberal) would immediately take it to that level. What triggered you?
The "bare shoulders?"
The "open toes?"
The "do me slit?"
I fear your Freudian slip is showing, FRiend.
;^)
Wow. So you really hate the whole Palin family. I'll bet Todd's biggest offense was being classless enough to marry Sarah, huh?
Thanks for the clarification.
Well, Wilde . . . I would suspect that ANYTHING
Governor Sarah Palin wore would not meet with your
approval! Oh, and a MILLION years is a mighty long time!
Judging by her many appearances since the McCain campaign, you may be about 80% right about that.
FRiend, I am not a guy. There was no Freudian slip. I think she is hurting her brand with her clothing choices. That is all.
Feeling dismay about one aspect of an otherwise worthy person's public persona is not "hate". Only liberals think that way. I have decades of experience in public relations for national and international corporations. I'm not just throwing shade; I'm truly saddened that she does not do as Margaret Thatcher did and take advice from stylists to smooth the rough edges of her style choices, if she does hope to convince a sharply divided electorate of her competence and discretion at any time again.
If she's completely retired from public life, whatevah.
Governor Palin is making boo-coos of moolah doing what she
has been doing since 2008. Neither she, nor the two singers
in the trendy & cowboy hats are RUNNING for ANYTHING. -
Now, Mrs. Palin is launching a new line of designer blouses
which ought to also turn her a pretty penny. - She & Todd
Palin have to consider that they have a special needs boy
(Trigg is his name, I think). He will need further funds to
provide for his care & education. (Rory Feek is also getting
flak from certain sourpusses; but when Joey died, she left
him with a heavy responsibility and the need to provide for
the future of their special needs daughter.) You don’t know
anyone else’s situation until you walk a mile in their
shoes.
I wish her well with all her endeavors. Certainly my dismay at her taste in clothing has nothing to do with my support for her and all parents with special kids.
I cannot believe that people at this website are posting as sheer clickbait a hit piece from the always deranged mind of Malia Litman, longstanding Obama activist and Palin hater.
Two words: “Jesus wept.”
Hope she does well with her endeavor. (Still don't think it looked well in the WH, tho.)
