Putting aside the issue of whether ‘off the shoulder’ is proper attire for the Oval Office, I love old lace - tablecloths, doilies, whatever. I crochet doilies myself (love the challenge of intricate patterns), but most of the larger “lace” pieces out there for sale at flea markets, etc. are machine made & are a cheap buy.
Anyway, it’s become popular to re-purpose these old lace items & I think Sarah’s “tableshirts” will sell out in a hurry. I knew I had a pattern for a fairly simple lace ‘topper’ somewhere, using a tablecloth - here it is for anyone who is interested:

A lot of people are very creative and re-purpose old doilies into nice looking dreamcatchers. I love to see old linens made into new things.

Sarah looks great, and let’s face it, we are not living under sharia law. This attire is acceptable in any setting now for the general population, except for perhaps the muzzies and the Amish. Please don’t put us back in gunny sacks; move up a century or two please.
I guess you see what you are looking for.....If you are green with envy and looking to degrade someone, you will find it. A positive attitude goes a long way in life., and you will be much happier with yourself too.

For those who would criticize/have an opinion are very amnesiac about the thousands of posts made about mooosechelle and her fashion faux pas...I’m old fashioned and very reverent about our National Monuments and places, i.e. White House. Hence, uncovered shoulders are not respectful in the oval office.
Another thought: to upstage the President and the important work he is doing to promote your *own* agenda/product is somewhat tacky and self-serving.
So hey! Maybe she can have the fashion line manufactured by Candies.
